ABOUT LILLY’S GOURMET PASTA EXPRESS
Lilly D’Alelio came to the United States in 1983, with her young family and started creating and manufacturing artisan pastas for the top hotels and restaurants throughout New England. Today, her pasta is made in three plants around the United States, supplying many of the finest restaurants in the country. In the last few years, her son Antonio has developed a quick service restaurant retail franchise system. The franchise focuses on serving the same gourmet pastas as the full service restaurants, for a fraction of the price, through online ordering, take-out, delivery, and catering. The menu is cooked-to-order, typically in 3 to 5 minutes, with prices similar to subs or pizza. They are now focused on expanding their retail franchise operations. Franchisees offer sixteen varieties of fresh pasta and 28 toppings, as well as soups, sandwiches, appetizers, and desserts. The concept is suited for both single and multiple unit investors, as well as those with limited restaurant experience. For more information on this exciting new franchise concept, please visit www.lillysgourmetpasta.com.
Karen Pritts, owner of the Whitney Ave shop has most recently been involved in the food import business. “I’ve been wanting to start my own business for quite a while. When I looked at Lilly’s and met the people behind it, I knew this was going to be a winner! The food is phenomenal, and I look forward to building a great business serving the Yale and New Haven communities.
