SPLASH Holidays 2020 Art Auction Hosted by Chambliss Law

Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. is hosting an art auction for the students of SPLASH!

If you have ever visited the law office, you have likely noticed the beautiful works of art displayed in the public art gallery. Through Chambliss' partnership with SPLASH, the firm features artwork by emerging Chattanooga artists ages 4 to 15. The curated collection by working artist Charlie Newton is displayed throughout the Chambliss Conference Center and is open to the public during normal business hours.

SPLASH is a year-round, free, youth arts workshop. The program encourages social responsibility and uses art to mentor children who face life challenges, providing a creative outlet and the skills needed for success at school and in life, helping them build better futures.

The firm committed to hosting an art auction for the students prior to the holidays and hoped to have the event in person. While the pandemic continues to present challenges, the story does not end there! Like so many other events, we are taking the show to a virtual platform. While we cannot be in person for this exciting event, we hope you will join us on our Facebook page on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 6 to 6:30 p.m. for the live portion of the auction. The silent auction portion is now open and will close at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, immediately following the live auction.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

-With this much needed grassroots program, these students continue to have a creative outlet to express themselves in a productive way.

-You are helping young entrepreneurs and their families earn money for the holidays (with 50% of the proceeds of each sale going to the student).

-You are helping to effectively demonstrate that there is a viable market for emerging artists.
