The 2011 ALRP From the Heart 28th Annual Reception & Auction is becoming a great success. Thank you all for taking the time to support ALRP and our mission to help people with HIV/AIDS maintain or improve their health by resolving their legal issues.
All online auction closing HIGH bids have now become the opening bids at our From the Heart 28th Annual Reception & Auction, to be held this Wednesday, OCTOBER 19th, from 6-9pm in the Green Room of the San Francisco War Memorial Building (across from SF City Hall at 401 Van Ness Avenue).
Online bidders who provided a maximum bid will have an ALRP volunteer proxy bidding for them at the reception.
After the reception, all winning bidders will be notified (if they were not at the reception to process their winning bid and take the auction item home with them).

As you may know, institutional funding for AIDS services is at an all-time low. The economic downturn is having a major impact on ALRP's ability to raise funds for our programs this year, especially from individuals. Yet the number of clients coming to ALRP for help continues to increase - by 45% over the last seven years!
