Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods' Holiday Online Auction
November 10, 2011 to November 30, 2011
The online portion of our Holiday Auction ended at 8:00 pm on November 30.
The event will carryover to our Annual Volunteer Celebration on December 2nd, which is an invitation-only event.
If you have absentee bids we will assign someone to bid for you at the event.
Our State Parks are closing. Austin Creek State Recreation Area, an exquisite 6,000 acre wilderness area that serves 200,000 people a year is on the closure list. In addition, there are many day-use and camping areas on the Sonoma Coast that are closed.
Stewards is working hard to find a way to re-open these closed parks. It's going to take funding to help us make this possible.
We are soliciting auction items now for this wonderful annual event. You can add items yourself or send us a photo and description and we will post your items for you.

AB42 offers us new Options!
AB42 makes it possible for State Parks to enter into operating agreements with nonprofit organizations to operate partially or fully a state park without having to go through a legislative process to do so.
Stewards will be working in partnership with State Parks to keep our parks open in the upcoming months.
In addition, Stewards recruits and trains docents through our Docent and Community Education field seminar series.
Docents and Volunteers provide services for tens of thousands of park visitors each year. Stewards supports 400 active State Parks volunteers who offer education and stewardship opportunities in our parks.

We can track how often your logo is viewed and clicked to see just how many people are accessing your site. Anybody who donates an item valued at $250 or more will be acknowledged as a sponsor.
