The 2012 Sabadell United Bank Keymorada Invitational Fishing Tournament to benefit The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) will be held May 8-11, 2012, and is proud to announce that it has raised over $3 million for the CCFA since 2005. Along with its numerous Sponsors, over 168 law firms throughout Florida and the United States have joined forces to raise awareness of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. These law firms, which usually go head to head in the courtroom, have found common ground in the battle against these debilitating diseases that often afflict children. The 2012 LexisNexis Law Firm Challenge Champion is GREENBERG TRAURIG LLP.
Rob Ruwitch of Miami is the 2011 Krieger Keymorada Grand Champion and in addition to a beautiful trophy and a Kreiger Lunar Chronometer, Rob received an invitation to the prestigious IGFA Championship Series. Captain Steve Leopold, on Yabba-dabba-doo out of Holiday Isle Marina in Islamorada, received top honors as the 2011 Keymorada Grand Champion Guide. The Top Fly Angler was Andy Yaffa, of Miami - a former two-time Keymorada winner. Top Fly Guide honors were taken by Captain Kris Suplee of Montana.
The Tournament takes place each year during the second week of May. The 2012 event will once again be held at the beautiful Cheeca Lodge & Spa, in Islamorada, Florida.
