The Namaste Spring Challenge is on! The auction will run from April 23, 2012 to May 13, 2012, with proceeds benefiting NamasteDirect in order to support our mission of advancing women's economic empowerment in Guatemala. NamasteDirect, and our locally established Guatemalan organization, NamasteGuatemaya, provide women with the opportunity to jump start or improve their business via loan capital, financial literacy training and personal business mentorship.
This auction helps to make our work a success. In addition to auction items ranging from exotic vacation getaways to exclusive donated items, we also have a very important opportunity to directly fund a woman in Guatemala with a 100% match from our board members on proceeds from this auction. Our goal is to provide 100 new women with our exclusive package of business support services, and for up to every 50 women funded, the five Namaste board members will support an additional 50 women. The cost of supporting a woman for nine months is just $500. And best of all, now through May 13th, all funds raised to support this unique program up to $25,000 will be matched by the Namaste board members, so tell your friends, family, and community and let the bidding begin!
