13th Annual Cat Haven Cat Tales & Cocktails Gala

Emcees are Smiley Anders and Lady Katherine, and there will be special celebrity video messages from Wayne Pacelle, CEO & President of The Humane Society of the United States, and actor and animal rights advocate, Tricia Helfer. How do you give a cat a 10th life? . . . Cat Haven

Cat Haven, a non-profit organization located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was established in 1999 to rescue and place kittens and cats in loving homes. In just a few years, we have rescued and found homes for more than 6,000 felines. We make it possible for area residents to find the perfect kitten or cat with our Adoption Center, open from noon until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and by hosting adoption events every Saturday in the Baton Rouge area. We also have an active program to assist low-income families with spay and neuter. Cat Haven depends on volunteers, members, and donors to continue its work. We hold fundraisers throughout the year, and our annual "Cat Tales & Cocktails Gala" is our primary source of funding for the operation of our Adoption Center, which gives homeless kittens and cats another chance -- a 10th life!
