Eagles Fly for Leukemia – Eagles Fly for Leukemia supports pediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  They also have a Family Support Fund, a service providing direct assistance to families in the Delaware Valley whose children are battling cancer.  Through the Eagles Fly for Leukemia Scholarship Program, many pediatric patients over the years have had access to a college education.  http://www.eaglesfly.org/ 

 

Mission of Mercy - Mission of Mercy delivers medical care via a mobile clinic at 7 different clinic sites in Maryland and Pennsylvania.  The volunteers and staff provide compassionate care that is not restricted by a patient’s race, religion, national origin, creed, insurance status or ability to pay.  http://www.amissionofmercy.org/marylandpennsylvania/          

 

St. Agnes Hospital Foundation - The Bunting Institute for Women and Children includes the Maternity Center for labor and delivery and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).  The Saint Agnes NICU is designated as a Level IIIB by the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS), one of only seven in the state of Maryland. The NICU is equipped to care for infants of all gestational ages and birth weights.  The unit provides 18 private beds, including six specifically designated for more critical babies. http://www.stagnes.org/index.php/our-specialties/womens-and-childrens-health-institute/nicu/

Silent Auction Procedures

Unless otherwise stated, bidding closes at 2:00 pm EST on August 24, 2012. All bids must be placed online. In order to place a bid, you must register and provide credit card information. (American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa accepted.) Site is secure and personal information is protected. Your credit card will only be charged if you are the high bidder at the close of the bidding for that particular auction item.

Terms of Sale

To the extent possible (in person in the RCM&D Towson office on 08/24/12  or via online photo and description), prospective bidders should inspect property before bidding. All sales are final and all property is sold “as is”. The Regatta Committee makes no warranties either expressed or implied. No exchanges or refunds will be honored unless specifically indicated.

Values listed are intended as a guide for prospective purchasers and are not warranted by the Committee for tax purposes or for competitive market values. Certain auction items may have restrictive use or other qualifications, which may affect value, applications, or use thereof to the bidder. All bids, once made, cannot be withdrawn unless superseded by a higher bid. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser.

Auction items will be distributed after receipt of payment. Pickup of purchased items must be arranged with your RCM&D representative at any of the 7 RCM&D Office locations. Auction items will be shipped only upon special request at the expense of the purchaser.
