Chefs & Champagne Online Bidding Closes on Thursday at 5pm!
The James Beard Foundation is offering its friends and members access to advanced online bidding on a select number of auction packages from our upcoming Chefs & Champagne® New York.
Chefs & Champagne® New York is the James Beard Foundation’s annual summer tasting party in the Hamptons. The fundraising event features Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, culinary offerings from a select group of 40 fine chefs from New York City and beyond, and an exciting silent auction. The Christian Wölffer Scholarship recipient to support food and wine studies will also be announced. This year's honorees are the JBF Award–winning host Ted Allen and judges of Food Network's Chopped.
The online portion of the Chefs & Champagne® auction will run from June 27, 2012 through July 19, 2012, with the silent auction taking place on July 21, 2012. If you cannot attend the event, you may place a "Maximum Bid" on an item. Our staff will bid for you using your Abstentee Bid.
Proceeds benefit the James Beard Foundation, whose mission is to celebrate, nurture and preserve America's diverse culinary heritage and future.

TERMS OF SALE
All sales are FINAL. No returns or credits are allowed. The highest acceptable bid received prior to the end of the auction date and time shall be the Buyer, who will assume full risk and responsibility of the lot.
All packages are sold "AS IS." Please inspect all merchandise and read lot descriptions carefully. Travel, special events, and dinner packages expire one year from auction date unless otherwise specified. All hotel accommodations and travel reservations are subject to space availability. Blackout dates may apply. Air travel, when provided, originates from New York/Newark airports unless otherwise indicated on certificate.
Unless otherwise indicated, all silent auction travel packages are for two (2) people and do not include airfares, car rentals, or other transportation to and from destinations. Travel packages are subject to blackout and expiration dates in 2012 and 2013. We strongly recommend that you book your travel packages within ninety (90) days of purchase to reserve the dates you prefer. The James Beard Foundation is not responsible for making travel reservations, event planning, or catering arrangements unless otherwise indicated. The purchaser is responsible for researching all applicable passport and visa requirements on foreign travel packages.
Dinners and catered events do not include beverages, taxes, or gratuities unless otherwise stated.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses. Applicable Shipping Fees will be billed to the winning bidder's credit card on file.
