The Morast Second Annual September Online Auction is now open. The auction will run from September 1, 2012 to September 18, 2012, with 20% of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Frances F. Morast Scholarship to Beat Ovarian Cancer and the remaining 80% of the proceeds will benefit Ovations' outreach, awareness, and research initiatives.

About the Morast 5K Walk and Run to beat ovarian cancer
Organized by Karla Morast Psaros in memory of her mother, Frances Morast, the Walk to Beat Ovarian Cancer is an annual event that takes place in September in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Frances was a schoolteacher in Bridgewater and lived in the town for most of her life. She was very active in the community, and was always fundraising for the school system. She was very well-known in the community and was loved by her students. Frances lost her battle with ovarian cancer in September 2007.
When Karla contacted Ovations, she wanted the money raised by this three-mile walk to benefit research for ovarian cancer and raise awareness of the symptoms of the disease. The walk has been a huge success over the past few years, raising over $95,000!
