The Furever Dachshund Rescue is now open. The auction will run from November 12, 2012 to November 26, 2012, with proceeds going to Furever Dachshund Rescue in order to support the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dachshunds in need.

For example, Dottie (pictured at left) is a 14 month old miniature dachshund weighing only 4lbs.  She was brought into our rescue this past weekend.  She has been diagnosed with Neosporosis which is an infection passed at birth. What could have been cured with a simple round of antibiotics has now turned into a life threatening neurological disease.  Her condition could have been avoided with proper medical treatment.

Because of the dedication and unconditional love she is receiving from her foster mom and the money we are able to raise from this Silent Auction, we are able to help Dottie and so many others. Please bid on our wonderful auction items. Many are beautiful, handmade pieces that are not able to be purchased in a store. Not only will you be purchasing something nice for yourself or as a holiday present for a loved one but most importantly you will be guaranteeing that the dachshunds in our rescue and the many that we will pull from shelters will get all the best medical care and love they truly deserve. This is the season of giving; won’t you please help us give more dachshunds, like Dottie, a second chance?

Our auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
