What is the HSMAI Foundation?
The Foundation was established in 1983 to serve as the research and educational arm of HSMAI. Its mission is to provide opportunities to support and grow the sales and marketing profession, including the awarding of over $10,000 in educational scholarships annually and the publication and distribution of educational materials such as the recently published “The Traveler Marketer’s Guide to Social Media and Social Networks” and “Demystifying Distribution 2.0”.
The "Getaways for Good" Online Travel Auction is now open and accepting donations. The actual bidding portion of the auction will run from March 1, 2010 until March 15, 2010.
The auction includes everything from exotic once in a lifetime experiences to weekend getaways available across the nation. A portion of the proceeds from the travel auction will go to support the various missions of the over 50,000 members of our participating partner organizations: ASWA, AWRT, IACET and RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.
Proceeds of the "Getaways for Good" Auction will be used to fund industry research, publications, educational programming and academic scholarships supported by the HSMAI Foundation, established in 1983 as the research and educational arm of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
The Media catalog is open to HSMAI members only and offers a media catalog with unprecedented values on all forms of media and opportunities for one on one time with the industry's top leaders and marketing gurus for reviews and consulting services.
