KUNM-FM is licensed to the University of New Mexico, but is a completely self-supporting unit. We get NO FUNDS from the University.
For more than 42 years, we have raised an overwhelming majority of what we need to continue to serve New Mexico (and the world via kunm.org) from the community: primarily from our listeners plus underwriting support from local businesses and non-profit organizations.
