Starting Monday, February 1, 2010, we will open our online auction by auctioning off a number of fun and unique items to raise money for the Monte Vista High Instrumental Music program. The more items we have the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.

With education budgets continuing to decline, Monte Vista High School's Instrumental Music Program depends on the community’s help to cover more than $50,000 in basic program expenses, including instruments, sheet music, repairs and travel. To maintain the excellent education and performance tradition of Monte Vista’s acclaimed Marching Band, Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic and Jazz Bands, our youth need you!

This year's Spring Fling 2010 live event will be held at the Blackhawk Museum;, on Friday, March 5, 2010. The event will include a dinner catered by Scott's Seafood Restaurant, dancing, performances by selected Monte Vista Instrumental Music groups, a private viewing of the museum, and a fund-raising auction with radio personality Don Bleu as celebrity emcee and auctioneer!
