BNS/BCS were founded by a committee of parents and educators who wanted to create a school:

- with a racial, ethnic and economic balance
- where children engaged in active learning
- where children of different skill levels work together
- where parents are involved in their child's education

Proceeds go to BCS/BNS in order to support programs at both Brooklyn New School and Brooklyn School for Collaborative Studies. Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
