The online portion of Ann Arbor City Tournament Auction is now open. The auction will run from June 6, 2013 to July 28, 2013. Proceeds go to Ann Arbor Area Community Tennis Association in order to support youth education activities in the community.  Auction items range from tennis lessons to fine art with all items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!

 

You'll be able to bid on all auction items during the final weekend of the Ann Arbor City Tournament - July 27 and 28th.  You do not need to be present at the tournament to win any of the auction items.

Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support our organization and our dedication to supporting and promoting tennis in the Ann Arbor area.

 

YOUTH EDUCATION ACTIVITIES:

 

The Middle School Program - Operating for more than 10 years this program provides instruction and equipment to beginning players.  The 8-week after school program wraps up with a tournament at the UM Varsity Tennis Center.  Every year 40+ volunteers teach 150 sixth graders from six schools.

 

The Washtenaw Family Court Tennis Camp - Offers four days of tennis instruction and a drug awareness program to youngsters, ages 8-17.  Every year AAACTA volunteers offer tennis coaching and loan equipment to more than 200 participants.

 

Town Tennis Kids Clinic - Introduces small folk to the game of tennis.  It's fun and games with prizes for all as the kids take the courts on the last day of the Ann Arbor City Tournament.

 

The Bob Mueller Sportsmanship Award - Recognizes deserving junior players participating in the AAACTA Junior Tournament.
