CLASS BASKET RAFFLE INFO
The Austin PTO will host the class basket raffle at the Austin Open House on Thursday, Mar. 11, 2010. The baskets have been organized by the room parents who have received generous help from the parents in each class. And the baskets are AMAZING! There is something for everyone!
Class baskets can be previewed online. Just click on the "View All Items" in the yellow box on the far left to see all of the terrific baskets available in the raffle. Raffle tickets can be purchased before and after school from March 1st-11th, as well as at the Open House. The raffle of every class basket will occur at the conclusion of Open House.
Raffle ticket pricing: $1 per ticket, 12 tickets for $10, and 25 tickets for $20. Look for us near the main entry of the school building before and after school from March 1st - 11th to purchase your tickets. There is no limit on how many tickets can be purchased, and anyone is welcome to participate and support this fundraiser.

The Austin PTO will also host an online auction with lots of great items donated by local businesses and Austin parents as well as Gifts of Time donated by the fantastic staff at Austin. This is a completely separate event from the Class Basket Raffle. From March 12 - 26, 2010, our online auction will be open, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And even though we will be on Spring Break, the online auction will remain open for your bidding convenience. Here's a list of some of the Gifts of Time donated by our wonderful Austin teachers and staff:
- Students will meet the Kindergarten teachers at McDonalds after school on April 22nd for a treat and time in the play area. Available for two students per kindergarten class.
- Donuts with the 1st grade teachers! Come in your pajamas and wear them all day! Donuts, fruit, & milk will be served. A special souvenir will be provided. Available for four students per 1st grade class.
- Ice cream sundaes and a movie with the 2nd grade teachers. Available for two students per 2nd grade class.
- "Ditch your parents" Night Out. Join the 3rd grade teachers for an evening of food, fun, & fellowship! (pizza & ice cream) Available for 1 student per 3rd grade class.
- Root Beer Float & Movie Party with the 4th grade teachers! Available for 3 students per 4th grade class.
- Specials Fun night: Pizza supper, followed by art, music, & PE activities.
- Principal for 1/2 a Day! A lucky 4th or 5th grader will rule the school for half a school day.
- Assistant Principal for 1/2 a Day!
- Lunch with the Counselor & Counselor's Assistant for 1/2 a Day! One student from 3rd-5th grade will help Mrs. McBride.
- Trip to "Art From the heart" to create a piece of art with Mrs. LaPlante, Mrs. Martin, and Mrs. Sblendorio.
