The auction will then move to the 10th anniversary Bedtime Stories event on October 24 in Seattle. Bidding will continue that evening. But regardless of where or when, top bid gets the prize!
Each year at Bedtime Stories, we invite Northwest authors to read original stories composed on a selected theme. Past participants include August Wilson, Tom Robbins, Charles Johnson and David Guterson. This year authors Daniel Orozco, Teri Hein and playwright Keri Healey will be participating; author Charles Johnson will return for his 10th appearance; and last year’s widely popular author, Jess Walter, will return as MC. The evening’s theme will be “Nighthawks.”
We would love to see you at the event where you'll hear these great authors read, enjoy a three-course dinner, and have the opportunity to speak with them afterward at the book signing.
For a taste of what you'll hear at Bedtime Stories visit http://www.humanities.org/bedtimestories for author bios and podcasts from last years event.
