Welcome to the Heroes with Heart Online Auction! The online portion of our auction will run from March 22nd to April 7th. All proceeds from the Heroes with Heart Silent Auction & Awards Dinner go to the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) and Community Counseling Center in Portland, ME.
TIP trains citizen volunteers to provide emotional and practical support to victims of traumatic events and their families in the first few hours following a tragedy. Established in 2004, in partnership with the Junior League of Portland, Maine, TIP works in cooperation with Greater Portland police and fire departments, Maine State Police and Maine Medical Center. Caring citizen volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Auction items range from jewelry to vacation getaways, books to wine, whitewater rafting and so much more!

Awards will be given to police officers, firefighters, paramedics and hospital staff who have been nominated for showing exceptional compassion and kindness to people who have experienced a traumatic event.
The 2010 Heart of Gold Award will be presented to Major General John W. Libby for his dedication to the well-being of those serving in the Maine Army National Guard and their families.
