Angela's House Mission is to identify families caring for their children who may have a severe disability or medical condition so that we may help them obtain supportive services to improve the quality of life for the children and their family. Angela's House assist children with special health care needs that are medically fragile, chronically ill or living with a life threatening illness

1st Annual Holiday Skate a Thon for Angela's House Monday, December 26th, 2011 2:30-5:30pm, Dix Hills Park Skating Rink
"Twas the Night After Christmas" Holiday Skate a Thon to benefit Angela's House. Lace up the skates and say goodbye to Santa Claus! Our skate a thon is open to the public and includes free skate rentals! Door prizes will be awarded to the top Team Fundraiser and top 10 Individual Fundraisers. Our recommended pledge is $1 per lap, per sponsor.
Our annual skate-a-thon is a fun and fit activity for all, with participants achieving their personal best distance. Participants should set realistic lap goals based on age and development. Drinks will be provided, and each participant will walk away knowing they helped fund a great cause.
Our goal is to help the fundraising committee raise at least $20,000 to support Angela’s House. We hope that each family will participate in the skate-a-thon to the best of their ability. We’re hoping to make this skate-a-thon an annual event, so the more contributions you raise, the more successful we’ll be at achieving our goal.
