Why MOSI?

MOSI is the nation’s 6th largest science center;

MOSI is a national leader in experiential science education;

MOSI is the proud winner of the 2009 National Medal for Museums by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the nation’s highest community service honor for museums;

MOSI is the leading science center in the country in summer science camps;

MOSI is the only science center in the nation with a head start program; and

MOSI is the only science center in the nation with a partnership school on campus.

Einstein on Food & Wine has provided $1.9 million of funding to MOSI for science education programs and community scholarships.

MOSI continues to build upon our existing programs and exhibits and seek innovative ways to engage diverse audiences in the 21st century. This is made possible, in part, with the success of the popular Einstein on Food & Wine, Tampa’s favorite food and wine tasting. The 18th annual celebration of delectable food and fine wine will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013. With more than 2,000 attendees, this event presents excellent exposure for your company while allowing you the rare opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to the Tampa Bay community.

As part of our event, we would like to offer guests unique items and/or unique "experience" type packages through our Silent Auction. We hope that you will consider supporting this event with a donation. Donors will be recognized on the MOSI website, in the event program that is distributed to guests, as well as with signage on the auction tables. You can be assured that your participation will generate significant benefits for your company and MOSI’s educational programs.
