FICP – 2013 FICP Annual Conference Silent Auction
Auction Ends: Nov 19, 2013 01:10 PM EST

The 2013 FICP Annual Conference silent auction is open now!

The 2013 FICP Annual Conference will host FICP's 12th silent auction. In 2012, FICP raised over $70,000 through the silent auction. This year, in keeping with FICP's dedicated philanthropic efforts, the silent auction will once again support Junior Achievement, with proceeds benefiting Junior Achievement International and Junior Achievement of Northern New England, the local area chapter.

Junior Achievement of Northern New England is dedicated to providing students with educational programs on entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness, including students in the greater Boston area. Each year, JA of Northern New England serves 36,000 students through their programs.

Bidding is now open! Show your support for FICP and JA by bidding on one (or more!) of our donation packages!

How to Bid

  • Register as a bidder using the link in the upper right-hand corner. This login is silent auction specific, so you will not be able to log in using your FICP username and password.

  • Once you have created your unique username* and password, you will be able to view specific auction packages and items.

  • When placing your first bid, you will need to choose the "Add Credit Card" option, found next to the credit card images. This option will redirect you to a new page, where you will be asked to supply your card information. Upon successfully entering your information, choose "Return to Item" to place your bid.

  • After you have completed these steps, the fun (and bidding) may begin!

*If you would like to bid anonymously, simply make your username non-specific. All participants receive alerts when they have been outbid, including the username of the person who has placed the higher bid. Returning users: If you would like to change your username to be less specific, you may do so by visiting the "My Account" page and updating your username.

Please Note: Only active FICP planner members and hospitality partners are eligible to participate in the silent auction and redeem auction prizes.

Don't forget about these important auction features:

  • Maximum Bids: When placing a bid, all users have the option to indicate a maximum bid amount. When using this option, bidding starts at the next available bidding increment and the system will continue to bid for the user, as necessary, until bidding surpasses the indicated maximum. Users will receive an alert each time their bid increases and when their maximum bid has been surpassed.
  • Buy Now: All auction items have a minimum bid price, as well as a "Buy Now" option. The "Buy Now" price is listed at a premium and allows the user to instantly buy the auction item and close bidding.
