Please help us reach our fundraising goal for the 2011-2012 school year!

Dear Merriam Families,

The Merriam School – your school – is a unique place for many reasons.  Topping the list is the fact that there’s an assistant in every classroom. With class sizes growing, we know the value of having an extra set of hands, eyes and ears in the classroom.

The Merriam PTO has a goal of $90,000 for the 2011-2012 school year.  Thanks to the passionate work of our volunteers and generosity of our parents, we have raised $79,000 to date.  While that’s impressive, it isn’t enough.  That is why your additional support is more important than ever.

To reach our goal, we need to raise an additional $11,000.  Without this money, assistants may lose classroom hours. 

To reach this ambitious goal, we’re asking each family to consider a contribution of $30.  We hope you might even be willing to give more than the $30, knowing that not all families are in a position to donate.
