BIDDING OPENS MAY 29, for the Toast Art Garden auction benefiting art & music in Birmingham Public Schools!
Starting on May 29, 2013, the Birmingham Education Foundation will be auctioning off original pieces of art from some of Detroit's finest urban artists. The proceeds from this sale will support art and music programs in the Birmingham Public Schools. Make sure to stop by TOAST Birmingham and check out the pieces live, they are amazing.
This project originated at TOAST Birmingham, a neighborhood joint. With construction on Pierce Street underway TOAST decided to use this as opportunity to beautify with some real cool street art. See art from the best urban artists in Detroit like Rift; Meca; Melo; Malt; Army; Sintex; Seks; and Fell3000. Art will be on display through June 12, 2013 at Toast Birmingham, 203 Pierce Street, Birmingham, MI 48009.
The final two panels will be completed by Groves & Seaholm students.
