The Westerly Hospital Foundation online auction is now open. The auction will run from July 30, 2010 to September 30, 2010, with proceeds going to The Westerly Hospital Foundation in order to support the 2010 Annual Fund and The Westerly Hospital’s Women’s Health Initiative.
The Women’s Health Initiative is making improvements in the delivery of healthcare services to our women patients in many areas, including: breast health, cardiac care, gastroenterology, obstetrics, and female adolescent health. This effort continues, driven by input from patients, families, physicians, and other experts.
The Annual Fund is providing prioritized capital improvements in several patient care areas, including: the development of an electronic medical record, so that secure information about a patient’s care is available where and when needed; new imaging equipment for our pain management program; upgrades to the cardiac catheterization laboratory; the latest anesthesia technology for the operating room; and, numerous other items large and small.
