Please join us for Beacon Charter Schools' 4th Annual Gala and Silent Auction

On Thursday, October 27, 2016, Beacon Charter Schools will hold our Fourth Annual Gala and Silent Auction to celebrate the achievements of our student artists, faculty, and staff at St Ann Arts and Cultural Center 84 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. It’s been an amazing year! We just completed the first successful year of Founders Academy, our new middle school, while our high school continues to be among the most successful in the state and our arts programs earn more critical acclaim. Funds raised at our Gala and Silent Auction are critical to sustaining the high quality of our arts and academic programs.
At the event, we will recognize the accomplishments of several individuals and organizations. Awards include:
- Vanguard of the Arts Fred Sullivan, Jr., Trinity Repertory Company and the Gamm Theatre
- Distinguished Alumnus Kira Hawkridge (’08), Out Loud Theatre
- Community Partner Lisa Carcifero, Woonsocket Prevention Coalition
Goals for funding this year include:
- supporting the upgrade of the lighting and sound for our theatre
- adding technology to our visual arts program; and
- continuing the renovations of the Beacon culinary lab.
This gala is the centerpiece of this effort.

The gala starts at 6:30 pm. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be made and served by the culinary students. Cash bar. Entertainment provided by the jazz band and glee club.
