Variety-the Children's Charity (Ontario) Casino Night Fundraiser
Online Auction 2024
Variety - the Children's Charity (Ontario) plays a key role in creating caring, inclusive, and just communities.
Year after year we count on fundraising events and online auctions to raise money for our programming and services.
Proceeds help us provide accessible and inclusive programming, provide one-to-one support for campers, and send kids to camp - closer to home.
This online auction runs in conjuntion with our in-person Casino Night 2024 being held on May 30th, 2024.
In 2023, we raised over $50,000 to send kids to camp across Ontario.
The pop-up Casino Night is hosted at The Miller Tavern, a former gambling den during prohibition, and a Hogg's Hollow institution that dates back to the 1860s, reveres tradition, and reads classic tavern.
The speak-easy-themed evening will host live entertainment, prizes, giveaways, hors d'oeuvres and light fare, an open bar and one great party.

In terms of tickets, your $200.00 ticket (tax receipt issued for a portion of the cost) guarantees you a cost effective and adult focused fun night out, with good friends, music, entertainment ($20.00 in gaming chips), beverages, an online auction, and good fare.
We also offer additional $5.00+ gaming chips. Chips can be redeemed for raffle tickets which you can use to win a selection of prizes, ranging from sporting tickets, gift cards, etc.
Our goal with this fundraising event is to raise in excess of $80,000 all with the aim to help us alleviate the costs on a child's family, help us maintain an accessible and inclusive facility, and give kids a summer they'll never forget!
