On October 1, 2010, the Office for Social Ministry, Care-A-Van Department of the Catholic Diocese of Honolulu, became HOPE Services Hawaii, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as HOPE). Although the new name, HOPE manages the same services and programs to those most in need in our community with over 20 years of experience with the same dedicated staff and support from the Catholic Diocese of Honolulu. These programs include outreach, representative payee services, emergency & transitional housing opportunities, and permanent supportive housing. We remain an organization long trusted in the community for our innovative and people-centered approach to human services. We help people in need to help themselves, regardless of their faith. HOPEs mission is: To bring to life the gospel values of justice, love, compassion and hope through service, empowerment, and advocacy
