The group is dedicated to humanely reducing the number of homeless and free-roaming cats in the Greater Boston area and to finding homes for adoptable homeless cats. We educate people about feral cats and work to get feral cats sterilized and returned to their outdoor homes through Trap-Neuter-Return-Management (TNRM). Once the cats are fixed and returned, colony caretakers provide ongoing food, shelter, and supervision. Adoptable cats and young kittens found with the colony are placed into adoptive homes whenever possible. In addition, CRA facilitates low cost spay/neuter services for owned cats when owners are unable to afford it.
