Volunteers of America Massachusetts gives the highest priority to helping people in need throughout the Commonwealth. We are driven by listening to the needs of the community and helping the most vulnerable people that everyone gave up on. They are addicts, prisoners, homeless veterans and elders in need. Every day of the year we are helping individuals who range in age from 13 and up in any one of our 12 programs. These programs give people second, third, and fourth chances...programs that don't count the number of chances people have had, yet the potential they have instead. Our goal is simple: *When individuals leave our services they are independent, physically, spiritually and emotionally stable, and reconnected to their communities and families. *If they live in one of our residential programs we ensure that they are leading the most independent life possible, feeling safe, secure, integrated into our community, and cared for as long as we can help them. Our approach is to give those in need the skills, hope and motivation to get back on their feet, and stay on their feet, no matter what life throws at them. Our team is composed of the best people in their field to help nurture, coach, and treat all our clients holistically. Our foundation is formed by compassionate, strong individuals who bring out the best in our clients and respect them for their humanity and resilience. For individuals who need to learn how to live with an addiction or a chronic illness and for those that need to find a new home or job, to integrate into the community or to find critical support, there is no place like Volunteers of America Massachusetts.
