Children's Art Classes - $100 off your choice
The New Art Center offers classes in a wide variety of mediums, from mixed media, ceramics, architecture, painting, drawing, puppetry, cartooning, woodworking and sewing. Classes are offered year-round and also during school vacations and summer break.
Our popular children's summer program provides students with the opportunity to try a variety of mediums and develop new skills in a fun and safe environment. Students attend four classes daily: Drawing/Painting, Ceramics, Sculpture/3D, and Activities/Drama, plus snack, lunch, and outdoor play time. Each week students create exciting projects inspired by our fun and creative themes! Students stay with a group of 15 same age/grade children. Each group is led by a professional art instructor assisted by two high school and college-aged counselors. Bring a snack and lunch daily.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Tuition: $345 per week/$325 siblings*
Early Drop-off: 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. $10 per day/child
Extended Day: 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. $20 per day/child

The New Art Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting artistic creation and education through classes, exhibitions and public programs. At the New Art Center, we nurture children's creativity, encourage emerging artists, develop teaching opportunities and enrich the community through exhibitions.
The Center educates over 2,500 students annually in classes and workshops, sustains a faculty of 40 professional artists, and operates one of the few mid-sized nonprofit exhibition spaces in New England, with over 4,500 visitors each year. Our goals include increasing the understanding of the intellectual and practical tasks of creating art through hands-on experience, and expanding access to original works of art.
