Blue and Green Linen Ikat Ball Skirt
This one of a kind Oscar de la Renta ball skirt is made from 100% linen, printed in a dynamic blue and green ikat print that was inspired by and adapted from an Italian hand printed silk velvet from the 19th century. The fabric is backed with organza and the skirt is lined with silk for the full volume and weight of a custom couture ball skirt. The skirt is size 4. The opening bid is $750, automatic bid increment is $30.
Special Instructions
The skirt was created by hand in Oscar de la Renta's atelier using fabric is from the Oscar de la Renta Home line of textiles (Kublai Kahn in Blue/Green, 2010119-313), available to the trade only through Lee Jofa. All proceeds will go to Casa del Niño, Oscar de la Renta's charity in the Dominican Republic that provides assistance, education, and medical care to children in need.
