Item Special Note
Hector M. Flores was born in Mexico City. His father ran a stained glass studio and Flores has been working with glass since he was a child. After studying in the Czech Republic, he began to work on cut, carved and polished sculptures. Flores has been a teaching assistant in Mexico and at Pilchuck Glass School, WA in summer 2010. His work is in public and private collections, including those of the Museo del Vidrio in Monterrey, Mexico, and Eskisehir Glass Museum in Turkey.
