Futures, Inc. DBA: Take Stock in Children, Volusia County. The mission of Take Stock in Children is “To support educational quality for the Volusia County Public School system by directing resources toward areas of identified need, increased community involvement and support, and encourage open communication between community and our schools.

The organization decorated its Christmas tree with educational-themed  ornaments, including graduation tassels, miniature chalkboards, and hand-made alphabet letters. The decorations were a joint effort between the organization’s staff and members of Belk department store.
