Dad
BILLY ELLIOT: THE MUSICAL
2008
In the finale of the Broadway’s Billy Elliot: The Musical, Dad wears a frilly ballet tutu over his mining uniform as a sign of acceptance of his son Billy. Our Dad bear lovingly recreates this moment in a handsomely rendered recreation of the costume first worn by Tony Award-winner Gregory Jbara. His clean coveralls of orange cotton twill are hand-dyed to match the color of the original Broadway costume. The coveralls have a flap pocket on the chest, a pencil pocket on his leg and two side pocket openings to allow access to pants pockets beneath. Under the coveralls, our Dad bear wears a white T-shirt and gray polyester belted pants with side and back pockets. He also wears black Calvin Klein boxer briefs, black cotton socks and scuffed black work boots. The removable tutu is made of white nylon tulle and spandex. Dad's hard hat comes with a working headlight, powered by a battery pack worn on his belt. Let our Dad bear shine some light into your life, by bidding on him today.
