Item Description

'Zil G'mor' Papercut.

A fine example of the revival of hand-made Jewish Papercutting. The Aramaic words from the Talmud mean "Now go and learn!"

Susan Leviton's work here is cut from acid free black paper and mounted on an intricately painted watercolor background with variegated colors ranging from mauve to ochre. Pencil signed by the artist. Acid-free mat and backing. The art encourages a closer look and deeper thinking!
