Item Description
Hobie has been wandering the Northern Rockies and Intermontain West since 1992, and enjoys being outside, regardless of the weather, exploring nature with others. He worked as an interpretive park ranger for eight seasons in Yellowstone, the mother ship of all national parks. He also worked six seasons as an instructor and naturalist guide with the Yellowstone Association Institute, which allowed him to share the Front- and backcountry wonders of the world's first nation park with people of all ages.
He is a photographer, writer, educator and communicator by trade and training, and it's a rather long, tangential story as to how he ended up in Montana and has made helping others deepen and strengthen their connection with nature his passion and life's focus.
Check out the website to see Hobie's lithographic Cards & Sets. He has donated 2 sets of "Yellowstone in Summer" and "Yellowstone in Winter" representing the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
