Item Description
SALVO FAMILY FLORIDA CONDO - Quiet Waters, 19931 Gulf Boulevard, Indian Shores, Florida 33785
Spend a week in Indian Shores, Florida! The Salvo's have offered a one-week vacation in their 2 bedroom, 2 bath, fully equipped condo located on a Gulf Coast barrier island between Clearwater and St. Petersburg.
Located on a narrow section of the barrier island, you get the best of the beach and the intercoastal waterway - watch the dolphins and manatees or fish from the dock on the intercoastal; enjoy the newly renovated pool and hot tub; or use the private beach access to enjoy the wide beach and warm Gulf coast water.
The Salvo’s light, sunny, spacious, and comfortable unit is on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the intercoastal and a shared front balcony with an ocean view. There is a very large master bedroom (queen bed) with shower and walk-in closet, plus a smaller bedroom (2 twin beds) with adjacent, separate full bath. There is a fully equipped kitchen, 2 DVD players, cable TV and laundry. Internet access is available through Bright House, with a Wi-Fi hot spot by the pool. Gas grills, picnic tables, shower and bathrooms are also poolside.
Gulf Boulevard is a pedestrian-friendly, two-lane street with a bike-path/walking-path. There are a number of restaurants nearby, as well as the popular Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, mini golf, a number of local restaurants (ask me!), and ice cream store. Day trips to Clearwater include Clearwater beach, Clearwater Aquarium, Sand Key, and numerous restaurants; head south along Gulf Boulevard to St. John’s Pass for fishing trips and kayak rentals, hit the famous Flea market, St. Pete and Pass-a-Grille beaches, or the famous Don Cesar for lunch or dinner. Stop by St. Petersburg for the Dali museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Chihuly Collection and Hot Shop personal glass experience, watch a baseball game at Tropicana Field, or visit the Sunken Gardens. There are several golf courses near by, Busch Gardens is a 45-minute drive, and Disney is just under 2 hours away. You may laugh at us, but with all this to do, we rarely leave the beach!
Quiet Waters is a mid-sized complex, constructed in 1981 of concrete block and stucco and comprised of thirty units on five floors, all of which are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1100 square feet.
The City of Indian Shores Home has over two and one-half miles of pristine beaches, and is situated between the City of Redington Shores (182nd Avenue) to the south and the City of Indian Rocks Beach (Whitehurst/First Avenue) to the north. It is about 40 minutes from the Tampa airport, with shopping and grocery stores in nearby Largo.
