Item Description
Denver graphic/web designer and artist Kym Bloom is a Colorado native with a history in theater, film, digital arts and fine art. She has a BA from BYU and a Master's from CU Denver where she taught for several years. Her work can be seen at Kanon Collective in Denver's Santa Fe Arts District as well as at Zip37 in the Navajo Street Arts District. Her mask was constructed by slowly melting lollipops with a butane torch. Once her candy sculpture was complete, she coated her mask with several layers of resin. This mask is a "sweet" tribute to Mondriaan and one of her favorite art movements. Visit kymbloom.com.
