This silent auction item will be presented for final bidding at our picnic August 2nd. 

Ahoy Maty!  The Hall family is graciously offering you a rare chance to step back in time by experiencing a week (June-Sept.) or 2 weeks (non-premium time...think Fall) in their authentic Leland Fishtown shanty which has been in their family for generations. The shanty is at the end of the harbor closest to the beach, and offers a prime tie-up for your yacht right alongside.  Grandfather, Bill, was captain of the "Irregardless," and its nameplate is on the wall... along with a collection of coffee mugs with each of his buddies' names on them. When you stay in the shanty, you may add your name and mug to the collection. The wonderful old building sports large windows with fantastic views, wide planks, original flooring, full small kitchen with stove, micro, fridge, and coffee maker, TV, DVD, electric heat, one full bath, king-size bed, loft with twin beds, twin bed, and fold-out double bed/couch. Linens are included.  The shanty is full of fun artifacts from days-gone-by such as a military phone, anchors, etc.  All this PLUS approximately 100 ft. of private Lake Michigan beach with fantastic views of the Manitou Islands and a perfect spot for watching the boats leave and enter the harbor, and walking distance to Leland.  This is a grand adventure for 5 adults & 2 children or 7 adults.  A mutually agreed upon time will be arranged between the highest bidder and Chris Hall.
