Your guide and van driver on this four-hour tour, will be Bill Genova, storyteller and historian, with an intimate knowledge of Toronto’s history and ethnic foods.

Your first stop will be the Chinese Supermarket called “TNT”. The store has racks of goods you won’t find at home, unless you live in China.

At the Cheese Boutique truffles are flown in every Wednesday and foie gras sits under lock and key.  Here you’ll find the best artisan breads of the city, not to mention the chocolate boutique and pastry temptations.

Next, you’ll visit a Polish supermarket that sports a huge assortment of Eastern European food products. 

Then on to “Yummy”, a Russian Supermarket, known for its home-made foods, and locally grown organic products.

The final destination is the Galeria, a Korean superstore carrying all Asian grocery basics, enriched with a strong organic section.
