Item Description

These thin leather yellow butterflies are as light and dancing as their namesakes.  Iridescent acrylics are applied by hand in thin layers and topped off with "interference" colors which mimic the changing color and light effects you see on real butterfly wings--the overlying colors appear, then disappear with changing angles of light!  The butterflies are 1.5 inches wide by 1 inch tall, and they're suspended from plated surgical steel earwires which drop 1 inch below the piercing. The butterflies are crowned with 2 small glass beads, and they move freely--the better to catch the light!
