About the artist: R. Elliott Katz is a sculptor from Cabot, Vermont and his work is an aggregate of natural objects (found or constructed), social critique and personal history. He received his B.A. in Studio Art from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and has shown extensively in the Northeast since with institutions including Mass MoCA, the BCA Center, the Berkshire Botanical Gardens, Chesterwood Museum and the L.C. Bates Museum. He is currently the Studio Manager/Working Resident at the Seven Below Arts Initiative since 2007. www.sevenbelowarts.com
