About The Dropkick Murphys Goodtime Tenor Banjo
The Dropkick Murphys Goodtime Tenor Banjo is crafted with a hard rock American maple neck and violin grade maple rim for an awesome tone. The neck bears exotic wood dot and clover inlays, with a Boston banner and Dropkick Murphys proudly engraved in the fret board. It is tuned in fifths G,D,A,E just like an octave mandolin so the fingering is easy for mandolin and violin players. These banjos are remarkably light, weighing only 4.5 pounds each; about the same as an acoustic guitar. The drum head of this special one bares the Signed and Sealed in Blood crest of Dropkick Murphys most recent album and is personally signed by each member of the band!
It is American made, right down to the custom banjo head made by Remo Drums. As part of this auction the Dropkick Murphys Tenor Banjo will also come with a green tenor Gig Bag.
