Item Description
Exquisitely crafted black leather briefcase by New York designer and master leather crafter Jutta Neumann. Fans of Jutta’s beautiful leather goods rave about the quality of the leather and attention to detail and this briefcase looks as though it will last forever. A wonderful holiday gift!
Born in Germany, Jutta Neumann began designing and hand building leather goods after moving to New York from Paris in the mid-1980s. More than six years she assisted a venerated New York leather artisan. Neumann opened her own studio and storefront in the East Village in New York City in 1994. Since then, her work designing and handcrafting sandals, handbags and shoulder bags, wristbands, belts, and accessories has been well received by designers and the general public alike. In 2001 she added a jewelery line combining leather with sterling silver.
Neumann's work is featured regularly in Vogue, Elle, Marie-Claire, Mademoiselle, Self, W and other national and international publications.
