Item Description
FRICKIN' ZIN
2008 Lake County Zinfandel
This classic Zinfandel was grown in rural Lake County, near the base of Mt. Konocti using sustainable practices. The head trained vines thrived in well drained, deep alluvial soil.
Frickin' Zin was fermented using native yeasts, punched down by hand and gently pressed to extract maximum fruitiness and a velvety mouthfeel.
Notes of blackberry pie, cedar, and dark red fruit, aged in neutral American and French oak for 12 months to preserve maximum fruit character, this bottling is limited to only 24 cases. Designed to age gracefully for 2-3 years for maximum softness.
Pairs perfectly with beef stew, vegetable lasagna, or raspberry torte.
13.5% alcohol 3.57 ph
