Item Special Note
Chris Scarborough received his BFA from SCAD in Savannah, GA in 2000. Exhibiting since 2000, Scarborough has received reviews and been included in such surveys as Hi Fructose Magazine (2009), NY Arts Magazine (2007 & 2006), ART PAPERS (2006 & 2005), and New American Paintings (2008, 2004, 2001) among others. He has also had recent solo exhibitions at Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta, and Curator's Office in Washington D.C. He has participated in group exhibitions and art fairs in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Miami, Atlanta, London and Tokyo among others. He has an upcoming solo show in 2010 at Foley Gallery in NYC. Scarborough's work is part of numerous private and public collections including the Tennessee State Museum, 21C Museum, and the Tullman Collection, and is a recipient of the 2008 Artist Fellowship for the state of Tennessee. Scarborough is represented by Foley Gallery, New York; Curator's Office, Washington D.C.; and Marcia Wood Gallery, Atlanta, GA. He currently lives and works in Nashville, TN.
