In her attempts to honor the beauty of lost things, Atlanta painter and installation artist Donna Mintz "produces beautiful layered paintings, andcerebral sculptures/installations and conceptual pieces." Writing for the Atlanta Journal & Constitution, Catherine Fox called her paintings "handsome and sensuous incarnations of the past...that augur well for the future." Mintz is widely collected and exhibited in public and private collections throughout the country. Her recent installation of reclaimed glass, lighting the sun, is currently on display in Transitive Geographies: Contemporary Visions of an EvolvingSouth" at Georgia College Museum before traveling later this year to various museums.
