George served between Mar 66 and Dec 69. He served 13 mos in VietNam with Kilo and Mike Companies 3rd Bn / 7th Marines (Regiment). He was a platoon commander of 3rd and 1st Plt in Kilo and led Mike as Company CO until wounded a second time, and finished as CO of H&S Company of the Battalion. George relished his time with the Corps and continues to serve as a docent with his wife.
