Item Description

Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reserve an 18-piece Jazz Orchestra to perform at your very own concert or special event! The Jazz Orchestra features musicians from the William Paterson University Music Department's Jazz Program, and is conducted by the university's Coordinator of Jazz Studies, Professor David Demsey. With a repertoire that spans big band jazz to modern works, including Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Jim McNeely, Clark Terry, and Jazz Program Founding Director Thad Jones, this is sure to be a crowd-pleasing, exciting event! 

The performance will be approximately one hour to 90 minutes in duration.  The Orchestra's availability is October 1 through December 15, 2010, or March 1 through May 10, 2011.  Location of concert must be within a one-hour drive of William Paterson University.
